E-newsletter Created for Recruiting Prospective Students
Virginia Beach, VA, May 26 - Throughout the year Regent University hosts Information Sessions on their two campuses: Virginia Beach, VA and Washington, DC. These events provide an opportunity for prospective students to visit, meet with professors and students, and gain an overall picture of the university. In addition, they personally meet with admissions professionals in their school of choice.
In May 2004, Lisa Sadler, Director of Admissions, Robertson School of Government, contacted Skylar Design about creating an e-newsletter for their June 17, 2004 information session in Virginia Beach. Having already created e-newsletters for Regent in the past, Skylar was privileged to once again help serve their community with this project.
The e-newsletter was used in conjunction with other website, paper, and radio advertising. The target audience included prospective students from the local area interested in completing their undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degree.
Sadler states, “Working with Skylar was an obvious fit for Regent University
since our goal is to exemplify excellence in every area. Utilizing a Skylar designed
broadcast e-mail was a contemporary advertising piece that allowed us to contact
those interested in pursuing their education with our university. The service
