Skylar Design Launches New Online Gallery
Huntington, NY, Feb 25 - After careful review and assessment of our online gallery, Skylar Design spent the last two months designing and developing a brand new portfolio. Although the former Flash gallery worked well for us, we felt it was time to improve how well we showcased our work to our current Skylar family as well as to our daily visitors. And since this section is one of the most viewed parts of our website, change was necessary in order to improve the overall experience our users have with the Skylar website.
Another concern we wanted to address with the new gallery was the intuitiveness in how the user navigates from one section to another. Although we like to be creative and distinctive in every project we take on, we never sacrifice our message just for the sake of being artistic. If our work doesn't embrace a clear message - whether it be our client's or our own - then we have failed you and our ourselves.
With that said, we streamlined the gallery entirely and made it much more intuitive. For our purposes, we chose simplicity as our style and, after two months of development, we have completed the project. If you have some feedback with the new portfolio, please let us know.
