Looks Great Services launches new website for their Charlotte, NC company
CHARLOTTE, NC, APR. 28 - Looks Great Services (LGS) has once again expanded their influence by starting a new company in the North Carolina, Charlotte area. After spending seven months in the gulf region (Hurricane Katrina), providing storm disaster relief services, Looks Great Services of Charlotte is now underway. Thus, it was time to launch the new Charlotte website for the 2006 spring/summer season.
Before embarking on any design ideas, our approach to this project was to gather and analyze the existing research they had from the LGS Long Island website (a site Skylar developed and launched in the fall of 2003). The data overwhelmingly indicated that the majority of their online visitors focused on their photo gallery. "No matter what kind of property maintenance services we provide, people want to see results," says Lorrie Seide, Executive Assistant, LGS-NY. She also shared with Skylar that on several occasions, upon arriving to give an estimate to a potential customer, the client already selected LGS as their company of choice before ever giving a quote. When asked why they came to that decision, they shared that their gallery demonstrated the level of excellence they wanted in a company.
As a result of our findings, it was clear what approach this new project would take. Besides the quality of development work Skylar gives to every project, this web project would emphasize the visual experience. A lot of our development time would be spent on developing the image gallery. With the understanding that their team members would periodically add new images to their gallery, the gallery is database-driven, complete with an entire administrative area. This equips LGS team members with the capability of adding images on their own without having to know a single piece of HTML code.
After hours of testing and debugging the site, we're glad to launch another project for the Looks Great Services organization. We pray for great success with their new company.
