Silverlink Communications Selects Skylar to Develop Their New Website
Burlington, MA, Aug. 08 - In late spring 2006, Silverlink Communications, a leader in automated interactive voice solutions to the healthcare industry located in Burlington, MA, began discussions with Skylar about the desire to redesign their website. Due to corporate growth and increased client demand for services, Silverlink felt it was time to begin this redesign process. Already underway with the rebranding of all collateral materials, Silverlink understood their website would also need to match the new branding direction.
In mid-summer, Silverlink began the actual process of revamping the website. Labor Day Creative and Skylar Design were strategically brought together to create a premium look. Labor Day Creative, a Massachusetts design agency, was responsible for rebranding all of Silverlink's new collateral materials, thus it made sense for Silverlink to continue utilizing their design services to create the distinct web interfaces.
Once the official design was chosen by Silverlink, the development "baton" was passed onto Skylar Design. At this phase of the process, Skylar was tasked with developing all the XHTML and CSS code, allowing the Silverlink site to come to life and provide site visitors with an interactive user experience. All section templates went through a barrage of strict tests to ensure that the integrity of look, clarity, functionality, usability, and other validation standards were met. Final stages of the project included the population of all Silverlink content into the appropriate sections.
In addition to Skylar's role of building out the entire site, Silverlink expressed an additional need - the optimization of their website within major search engines/directories. Therefore, as part of the developmental process, Skylar specifically coded each page with the intent of improving their overall positioning.
The new site brings Silverlink to a new level of online visibility and the Skylar team was happy to be a part of this endeavor.
